This month we are checking in with our Team at ARTC. Details of the project is below.
Project Value: $16.4b
Project Background: The Inland Rail Program (Program) is a once-in-a-generation Program of infrastructure works which will, when completed, connect regional Australia to domestic and international markets, transforming the way freight is transported around the country. It will complete the ‘spine’ of the national freight network with a new 1710 km freight line linking Melbourne and Brisbane via regional Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland.
CPM Scope of Works: The scope of the Utilities Management Services is to identify all Utility Authorities that own and/or operate infrastructure within the Inland Rail corridor and plan and manage the assessment, integration design and adjustments required for delivery, thus minimising the utilities-related risks to the Inland Rail Program.
Major Milestones: Milestones for the Utilities Management Services are aligned to the overall project milestones of which there are many. For example, a key deliverable under the contract is a Utilities Scope of Work and Technical Criteria (SWTC) document which has to be delivered prior to each Inland Rail project issuing an RFT to market for D&C contracts.
