- This is a long term position with a stable Queensland company operating within a Consolidated Group of Businesses. These businesses include an advisory consultancy, a civil infrastructure company, a hospitality business and a property precinct.

The Junior Administration Assistant will be the initial face and voice of the group. Enthusiasm and professionalism are a necessity.
Duties will include
- Answering incoming calls and front desk duties
- Maintenance of company email inbox – distribute and respond appropriately
- Manage incoming & outgoing mail
- Data entry and filing
- Accounts Payable data entry
- Provide general administration support to the rest of the team
- Cert II or Cert III in Business Administration training opportunities

For the General Administration Assistant role, duties will include:
- Answering incoming calls and front desk duties when required
- Accounts Payable and Receivable
- Accounts Reconciliation
- Maintaining reports and schedules
- Coordinating subcontractors in office precinct and maintenance items
- Update and maintain library of administration procedures
- Ensure the follow up and close out of tasks is done by yourself and other team members
- Support the wider team with tender submissions and marketing materials
- Provide general administration support to the Administration Manager and Senior Management Team
The successful candidate will:
- Be an Australian permanent resident
- Have minimum 2 to 3 years’ experience in a similar role
- Experience in Microsoft Office suite
- Be able to show initiative in problem solving
- Have excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Be a passionate customer service driven professional
- Be a positive and energetic team member
- Be happy to step in and assist in additional tasks when necessary, even when it’s outside your normal scope
